What is Styrene Acrylic?
Styrene acrylic is a copolymer resin that combines the properties of styrene and acrylic polymers. It is formed by the copolymerization of styrene and acrylic monomers, resulting in a versatile material with a balance of properties from both components. Here are some key points about styrene acrylic:
1). Polymer Composition: Styrene acrylic copolymers typically consist of a combination of styrene monomers and acrylic monomers, such as methyl methacrylate (MMA) or butyl acrylate (BA). The specific composition can vary depending on the desired properties and applications.
2). Film-Forming and Binding Properties: Styrene acrylic copolymers have excellent film-forming capabilities, making them useful in coatings, paints, and adhesives. They can form durable, protective films when applied on various surfaces. They also provide good binding properties, allowing the copolymers to adhere well to substrates.
3). Versatile Applications: Styrene acrylic copolymers find applications in various industries, including architectural coatings, decorative paints, industrial coatings, paper coatings, textiles, adhesives, and construction materials. They are valued for their balance of properties, including good adhesion, water resistance, UV resistance, and flexibility.
4). Weatherability: Styrene acrylic copolymers exhibit good weather resistance, making them suitable for outdoor applications. They can withstand exposure to sunlight, temperature fluctuations, and moisture without significant degradation or color fading.
5). Compatibility and Blending: Styrene acrylic copolymers are compatible with other polymers and resins, allowing them to be easily blended with other materials to modify properties or achieve specific performance requirements. They can be blended with other acrylic polymers, vinyl acetate ethylene (VAE) copolymers, or other resins to tailor the final formulation.
6). Environmental Considerations: Styrene acrylic copolymers can be formulated to meet specific environmental regulations and standards. Water-based formulations using styrene acrylic copolymers have gained popularity as an alternative to solvent-based systems, offering lower VOC (volatile organic compound) emissions and reduced environmental impact.
It's important to note that the specific properties and applications of styrene acrylic copolymers can vary based on the specific composition and formulation. Manufacturers may adjust the ratios of styrene and acrylic monomers to achieve desired performance characteristics for different applications.

Our trade process spreads across CIF, FOB, TTO, and TTT, depending on the buyer's preference.
Here's what they entail:
1). Cost Insurance and Freight (CIF): Here, the seller will handle everything from loading the vessel, paying for insurance, and sending the product to wherever the buyer wants it delivered.
2). Freight On Board (FOB): Here, the seller pays for the transportation of the goods to the port of shipment, plus loading costs, while the buyer pays the cost of marine freight transport, insurance, unloading, and transportation from the originating port to the final destination.
3). Tanker Take Over (TTO): Here, the buyer will take over the vessel, offload the product at their destination, and return it.
4). Tanker To Tanker (TTT): Here, the buyer uses their own vessel, long sides with the seller's vessel, and then the cargo is transshipped when the transaction is fully settled.
