What is Emulsifiers?

Emulsifiers are substances that help stabilize and disperse immiscible ingredients, such as oil and water, in a stable emulsion. They have the ability to reduce the surface tension between two immiscible phases and prevent them from separating. Emulsifiers are commonly used in various industries, including food, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, and industrial applications.

Here are some key points about emulsifiers:

1). Food Applications: Emulsifiers play a vital role in the food industry by creating and stabilizing emulsions. They are used in products such as mayonnaise, salad dressings, sauces, margarine, and ice cream to prevent the separation of oil and water. Emulsifiers can also improve the texture, mouthfeel, and shelf life of food products. Examples of food emulsifiers include lecithin, mono- and diglycerides, polysorbates, and sodium stearoyl lactylate.

2). Cosmetic and Personal Care Products: Emulsifiers are widely used in the formulation of cosmetic and personal care products to create stable emulsions of oil and water. They help achieve desired texture, consistency, and appearance in products like creams, lotions, moisturizers, sunscreens, and makeup. Common emulsifiers in cosmetic formulations include cetearyl alcohol, sorbitan esters, and polyglyceryl fatty acid esters.

3). Pharmaceutical and Medical Applications: Emulsifiers find applications in pharmaceutical and medical products as well. They are used to formulate emulsion-based medications, such as creams, ointments, and intravenous drug delivery systems. Emulsifiers help improve the solubility and bioavailability of certain drugs and ensure consistent drug distribution in the body.

4). Industrial and Technical Applications: Emulsifiers have various industrial and technical applications. They are used in the production of paints, coatings, and inks to provide stability and dispersion of pigments. Emulsifiers are also used in the manufacturing of lubricants, textile auxiliaries, and other industrial products.

Emulsifiers are crucial in achieving stable and uniform mixtures of immiscible ingredients in a wide range of products. They enhance the quality, functionality, and sensory characteristics of the final products. The selection of specific emulsifiers depends on the nature of the ingredients, the desired properties of the emulsion, and the specific application requirements.
Our trade process spreads across CIF, FOB, TTO, and TTT, depending on the buyer's preference.

Here's what they entail:

1). Cost Insurance and Freight (CIF): Here, the seller will handle everything from loading the vessel, paying for insurance, and sending the product to wherever the buyer wants it delivered.

2). Freight On Board (FOB): Here, the seller pays for the transportation of the goods to the port of shipment, plus loading costs, while the buyer pays the cost of marine freight transport, insurance, unloading, and transportation from the originating port to the final destination.

3). Tanker Take Over (TTO): Here, the buyer will take over the vessel, offload the product at their destination, and return it.

4). Tanker To Tanker (TTT): Here, the buyer uses their own vessel, long sides with the seller's vessel, and then the cargo is transshipped when the transaction is fully settled.
